Become a Friend of TWK

A Friend of TWK is someone who supports our work through a regular monthly donation. Your ongoing support helps us plan ahead, respond to urgent needs, and deliver long-term, sustainable change.

As a Friend of TWK, you will:

  • Make a lasting difference every month
  • Help us respond where needs are greatest
  • Receive a regular newsletter with updates from our programmes in Kenya



£25 per month is the amount most of our supporters choose, but every gift - large or small - makes a real difference. Every penny of your contribution goes directly to funding TWK’s programmes. Our UK team is entirely volunteer-led and personally covers all of its own expenses.

How would you like your gift to be used?

Where it is most needed (recommended)

If you are happy for your donation to be used flexibly, this option allows us to direct funds to the areas of greatest need at any given time – whether that is education, water restoration, agriculture, or SEN provision.

This approach ensures your support has the maximum possible impact.

OR, choose a programme close to your heart

If you would prefer a stronger personal connection, you can choose for your donation to support one of the following programmes:

Monthly giving options

Choose a monthly amount that feels right for you:


  • £10 per month – Supports essential resources across our programmes
  • £25 per month (most popular) – Covers the cost of educating one underprivileged child at the TWK primary school
  • £50 per month – Restores access to clean water through our pump repair programme, benefiting over 2,200 people each year


You can also choose your own monthly amount.


Many Friends of TWK start at £25 a month and increase their support over time as they see the difference it makes.

Gift Aid your donation

If you are a UK taxpayer, you can increase your donation at no extra cost by choosing to Gift Aid.


For every £1 you give, we can claim an extra 25p from HMRC – making your generosity go even further.


You’ll be able to select Gift Aid during the donation process.

  • Progress across our education, water, agriculture, and SEN programmes
