Education Projects
In partnership with the community, we believe education is the foundation for long-term change. We're developing a range of projects to support learning across all age groups, from young children to adults in the wider community.
Primary school
We’re committed to continuing the work started with our first school in Olepolos, and we’re excited to open our new primary school on the TWK Education Campus in January 2026, in Ntashart.

Community Learning Centre
One of the key takeaways from our 2024 community consultation was a powerful drive for educational opportunities for all. Many members of this community have never had the opportunity to access education. You can read more about the consultation in our report, in News.
To meet this need, we’re developing a Community Learning Centre, a dynamic hub where people of all ages can learn, grow, and gain life-changing skills.
Key features will include:
- A library with a wide range of literature for early education, vocational learning and opening doors to a wider world
- A digital learning lab with computer and internet access
- Literacy and numeracy classes for adults
- Vocational workshops in areas like farming, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy
This centre is more than just a building, it’s a foundation for a stronger, more informed community.
Our future vision for a Technical & Vocational Education and Training (TVET)
With Kenya’s Competency-Based Curriculum placing a strong focus on hands-on skills, there’s a growing need for vocational training. There are limited employment opportunities in the local area, this skills based education encourages entrepreneurship and income generation which in turn improves the lives and outcomes of the community.
TWK is aspirational about supporting the community through TVET education. Here are some examples of courses a TVET could offer:
- Electrical installation
- Plumbing
- Carpentry
- Tailoring
- Digital literacy and technical skills
Our goal is to prepare young people for meaningful work, give them the tools to start businesses, and empower them to lead their communities into the future.
We are actively seeking funding, partnerships and support to make this aspiration real - if you'd like to get involved, please support us or contact us.

Help us build a brighter future
Our education projects are driven by local needs and a shared belief in the power of learning. Whether it’s a school for children, a training course for adults, or a vocational skill that creates a job, your support can help make it happen.
